Emily Raij loves sharing stories. She has written 50-plus children’s books and edited dozens of K-12 educational resources and nonfiction books. She also works as a journalist, focusing on local communities and the people who make them thrive. Emily is a native of Chicago, where she earned her journalism degree from Northwestern University. She lives in Florida with her husband, daughter, son, and dog. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Emily enjoys long walks and volunteering at her synagogue, where she installed and stewards a Little Free Library and Little Free Pantry.
